Vacaville PAL's Shop with a Cop will serve 75 Vacaville participants.
Vacaville PAL's Shop with a Cop serves Vacaville residents or Vacaville Unified School District-enrolled students ages 7-18.
Vacaville PAL's Shop with a Cop will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024.
Participants will check in at the designated location at 5:30AM.
NO! This program is for the community and will benefit families in Vacaville during the holiday season.
Selected families will receive notification by Thanksgiving week.
Unfortunately, if you do not hear from a PAL staff member by Thanksgiving week, it will automatically mean your participant was not selected for this year's event.
Once we've selected participants, a PAL staff member will contact you. You will need to be prepared for the following:
-Confirm that your child is available at the time and date of the event.
-Families will need to complete a Youth Development Application for every child.
-Answer a series of questions about each child.
Due to the nature of the event, parents and guardians are not allowed to stay during the event. Parents and guardians will be encouraged to stay during the opening remarks, but will be asked to leave and come back at the designated pick up time.
PAL builds bonds between cops and kids by encouraging positive interactions through a variety of enriching activities.
